Dual Standards

means to define a principle or a value in totally different manner for different people.
In this world, we are living in, is full of dual standards ranging from religious beliefs to common laws and practices.
dual standards arises from our internal hypocrisy.
If any Afghani is fighting against invasion by Russia he is a hero but if he is fighting against the american invasion he is a terrorist
If a common person in Pakistan commit a minor crime he is sentenced for five to six years but if the prime minister of Pakistan is found guilty for a much more heinous crime he is only sentenced  for 30 minutes
